Triumphs and other Leyland cars were originally issued with a service book called a 'Passport to Service'. Triumph branded Passports were issued from 1971 till around 1978. As they only went up to 48,000 miles the owner could ask the dealer for another copy and so in theory there should be quite a few cars with different versions of this book.
I've not been able to find a definitive list of the different versions of these books, but have gathered quite a few different examples as per the list below:
| Publication No.||Edition ||Publication Year ||Publication Name|
|512173||1st||3/63||Triumph Service. Facilities available to owners of Spitfire4|
|512205||4th||5/67||Triumph Servicing Schedules|
|512205||7th||1/71||Triumph Servicing Schedules|
|545232||1971||Triumph Passport to Service|
|AKD 8072||4th||1972||Triumph Passport to Service|
|AKD 8072||5th||1973||Triumph Passport to Service|
|AKD 8072||6th||1976||Triumph Passport to Service|
|AKM 4014||2nd||10/77||Leyland Cars Passport to service|
|AKM 4639||7/79||(BL Service Logo) Passport to Service|
Being a long standing Triumph owner you sometimes have to make parts and so I decided to make my own Passport, but as you can see from the picture below I got carried away and produced two versions. The first is the 4th edition from 1972 and the second is the 6th edition from 1976.
I'm also producing the inserts that originally came with these books, which includes the Owners Service Statement (Triumph (AKD 8077) and later Leyland (AKM 3499) versions ) and also the Free Service voucher (AKD 8025).
I have started to sell these at some of the TSSC shows, and also on EBay
